St. Louis Fed’s Investment Connection Program Provides Connection for Gateway and Tabernacle CDC

Andre Alexander, President of Tabernacle Community Development Corporation (CDC), attended the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis’ Invesment Connection event and pitched Tabernacle CDC’s Affordable Rental Program to potential funders which included Jaycee Greene, Community Development Lender for Gateway CDFI. Investment Connection is a program that strives to bring together nonprofit organizations, bankers, foundations, and public and private funders to explore community development opportunities in the areas they serve—especially those in low- and moderate-income, distressed and underserved communities. Jaycee and Andre connected at this event and quickly realized that Tabernacle CDC’s Affordable Rental Program was a great fit for Gateway to provide the lending. Investment Connection is a great program – we encourage other nonprofits to participate. To read the full article, click here and to review Gateway’s lending products, click here.
