Fox Grove Management Purchases Assets of Community Asset Management Company
We are pleased to announce that DeSales Community Housing Corporation’s affiliate, Fox Grove Management, has purchased the assets of Community Asset Management Company (CAMCO). Fox Grove assumed the management of more than 1,000 apartments and homes previously managed by CAMCO. Prior to the purchase, Fox Grove managed 529 units and had 15 employees; it now manages over 1,600 units and has 45 employees. Both companies have operated with the mission of providing high quality residential property management and social service programs to low- and moderate-income families in St. Louis, and this will remain the focus as Fox Grove becomes acquainted with these properties.
DeSales has been a long time partner of St. Louis Equity Fund. The first partnership between the two organizations was in 1993 and we are excited to close our seventh partnership with DeSales in the next few months. We will work closely with Tom Pickel, Executive Director of DeSales, and Stan Presson, Director of Property Managment of Fox Grove, to ensure a smooth transition for the owners and residents. We are proud of our work together and know that the units transferred from CAMCO to Fox Grove will be in good hands!
