SLEFI Awards Resident Services Grants
SLEFI announced the availability of grant funding for resident services programs and accepted grant applications in October 2018. Grants of up to $2,500 per property were available to SLEFI’s 501(c)(3) non-profit managing and development partners and had to be used for the acitivites of the residents residing in LIHTC properties in which SLEFI has invested. SLEFI received many grant applications which included funding for excersise equipment, computers, bus passes, rent and utility assistance and assistance with job training. Based upon staff recommendations, SLEFI awarded grants totaling approximately $15,600 spread among 11 partners. Thanks to all of our partners who submitteed a grant application – we hope the services provided by these funds will have a positive impact in our residents’ lives.
