KCEF furthers the role of Gateway CDFI in Kansas City
During the past few months staff has worked closely with NeighborWorks America to form a partnership between Gateway CDFI and NeighborWorks. The NeighborWorks District Office, located in Kansas City, MO, includes staff focused on Organizational Assessments of their affiliate community development and housing entities, and they are pleased that Gateway is available to work with them.
As an approved contractor for NeighborWorks, Gateway staff is also available to consult in the areas of housing development, financial projections and underwriting, construction draw management, compliance and asset management, and organizational development for local neighborhood housing organizations.
Our first engagement under the terms of this agreement will be with Neighborhood Housing Services of Kansas City, as KCEF/Gateway staff facilitates their June Board of Directors’ orientation and Strategic Planning session.
