Matthew G. Nordmann

Vice President - Acquisitions

Matt Nordmann joined SLEFI as Senior Investment Acquisition Officer in the first quarter of 2006. Matt is responsible for acquiring, underwriting and closing new projects. He works closely with developers before, and during construction to provide assistance for the developer as well as to ensure prudent expenditure of investors' funds.

Before joining SLEFI, Matt worked as a Vice President for Commercial Development at The Pyramid Companies, a commercial real estate developer in St. Louis specializing in developments utilizing historic and low income housing tax credits. While at The Pyramid Companies, Matt worked in all aspects of the development process, but concentrated in the areas of transaction structuring, loan and equity negotiation and documentation and transaction closings.

Prior to that, Matt worked as a Vice President at US Bank Community Development Corporation in St. Louis, and as a Vice President for Development Services for Metropolitan Housing Development Corporation in Chicago, Illinois. He began his career as an Associate Attorney for Glasser and Glasser, PLC, a law firm located in Norfolk, Virginia where he practiced in a variety of areas including real estate, creditor's rights and mass toxic tort litigation.

Matt is a member of the Virginia and Illinois Bar Associations. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, a Master of Arts degree in Urban Affairs and a Law degree, all from St. Louis University.
