Amy P. McDermott
Vice President - Operations
Amy McDermott is Vice President of Operations for St. Louis Equity Fund. She joined SLEFI in 1999 as Executive Assistant and moved into the asset management department in 2000. Currently, she is responsible for reviewing and auditing all resident files to verify compliance with Section 42 rules and regulations. Amy also monitors the initial lease-up period working closely with the developer/general partner and property manager to ensure delivery of tax credits. Amy has obtained her Section 42 certification from Affiliated Compliance and Consulting and also coordinates outside compliance auditors employed by SLEFI to review all new initial files.In addition to asset management, she is also responsible for public relations for SLEFI which includes the production of the annual report, investor communication, and project communication. Amy plans and coordinates special events including the annual fall house tour for Investors, groundbreaking events, and grand opening events. She also is responsible for the development of marketing materials, PowerPoint presentations and maintaining the SLEFI website.
Amy received her Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Lindenwood University in 1997. Prior to joining SLEFI, she worked at Towers Perrin as the Human Resources/Benefits Coordinator.
