Echelon Hosts 5th Annual Garbage Bag Gala
Echelon St. Louis, the Young Adult Auxiliary of the Salvation Army, hosted the 5th Annual Garbage Bag Gala on Saturday, July 16th at Mercedes-Benz of St. Louis. St. Louis Equity Fund was proud to be a sponsor of this event where 17 local designers created outfits made only from Duck Tape, garbage bags, and recycled materials. With 320 attendees they raised more than $8,000. The 1st place winner received $500, 2nd place winner received $250 and 3rd place received a $50 gift card.
At this event we also welcomed the new Salvation Army Divisional Commanders to St. Louis, Lieutenant Colonels Dan and Dorene Jennings!
